BIG Lottery support for Play England not renewed after 2011

Play England has learned that the Big Lottery Fund will not be renewing or extending their current grant or funding a follow up play programme to secure the legacy of the Children's Play initiative beyond 2011. However, Play England understands that there is the possibility for play to feature in the next round of funding programmes to be discussed later this year.
