As some of you maybe aware, the brand new Diplomas will be introduced this September. Many of you have been involved in the diploma development process, and many of you will be part of an approved consortia to deliver these diplomas this year.
SkillsActive form part of the Diploma Development Partnership (DDP) with Skills for Health, Skills for Justice and Skills for care who collaboratively work on the content of the Diploma in Society, Health & Development. SkillsActive is leading on representing the children’s workforce in conjunction with CWDC.
We have worked closely with children's workforce employers like you on an ongoing basis and in order to provide support for the arrival of the diplomas, many of you requested further assistance for delivering the Diploma specific to our sector needs.
As a result of this, we have produced an Employer Toolkit for Children's Workforce Employers to provide a resource which provides advice, information and guidance on all areas in one place.
In order to launch this toolkit, SkillsActive will be hosting an event on March 31 2008, for Children's Workforce Employers. So if you work in this particular sector or are interested in how you as an employer can get involved, please book onto the event below.
