Play Gloucestershire has been chosen to deliver a new and exciting programme of outdoor play activities across the county. Through their Play Rangers (mobile playworkers operating in parks and green spaces), Play Gloucestershire will provide open access play, sports, arts and games for school-aged children in five Gloucestershire districts.
The Gloucester programme has begun and recruitment is now underway for the Cotswold, Forest of Dean, Stroud and Tewkesbury programmes. Each district will have its own small, dedicated team to work alongside local partners. The Forestry Commission is one such partner and each district programme will develop its own unique characteristics.
