Recent awards: 24 Local Authorities in the South West have successfully bid for their Children's Play allocation. The funding, totalling more than £5.4m, will provide a whole host of new and exciting play opportunities for children and young people across the region.
Supporting Young People: YPF 2 is one of the Big Lottery Fund’s most important programmes to date, building on the huge success we've had under our previous phase of funding for young people. In this round of funding, we will only fund youth led projects.
Changing spaces: BIG’s award of £10.1 million to renewable energy specialists Building Research Establishment (BRE), will enable communities across England to reduce their carbon footprint.
Also, in September 2007 BIG announced the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts as an Award Partner under its Changing Spaces programme. RSWT will manage Local Food, a new £50 million grant scheme. |
